Hunstanton is probably the nearest you'll get to a trad. British seaside resort, these photo's where taken on a VERY hot Sunday in August 2001.

As the main 'bike park' is along the seafront - on hot days - it's a heady mix of sunbathers, day-trippers and bikers. I should imagine it might be better and less frantic on cooler days.

There's quite a good ( seemingly biker friendly ) pub right on the seafront, but be warned, not many places to eat.

2004 Update:
Apparently bikers are going to be charged £1 to park on the seafront this year, there has been problems in the past due to large numbers of bikes and a relatively small seafront, so expect to be charged or moved on!
Councils faced with similar problems should take a trip to Boxhill in Surrey and Stratford on Avon where local councils have created purpose built bike parks which are big enough and free and please remember bikers visit all the year round, use local businesses and don't jam up the roads !
